A truly unique coffee coming from the northern region of the volcanic island of Bali in the Indonesian Archipelago. While it exhibits the strong, earthy backbone characteristic of many Indonesian coffees, the natural process lends a delicate sweetness resulting in a wildly complex array of flavors that defy description.

A City Roast brings strawberry tartness layered with bakers chocolate and hazelnut that taunt the palate in this shifting, exotic cup.

Grower Subak Avian Cooperative

Region Kintamani Highlands, Bali, Indonesia

    Amazing coffee three years running

Posted by Emily Slusser on Nov 22nd 2021

My husband has been drinking this Bali coffee for three years now. Even after moving away from Walla Walla I still get this shipped for him 3 states away, it’s his favorite. It’s got a delightful strawberry nose on it and is incredibly smooth. It’s also very consistent from batch to batch which is another reason we keep coming back.

Strawberries hit you right in your face!

I first ordered from Walla-Walla becasue I am a nerd and I wanted to try any coffee endorsed by Agent Cooper. My second order included this little number and I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it up: the scent of strawberry filled my kitchen. That excitement was quickly replaced by concern: "it's not a flavored coffee, is it?" I thought to myself. It was with these mixed emotions that I brewed my first pot. The good news: it is not a flavored coffee. However, people who do not think they'll enjoy the tart notes of strawberry should avoid it becasue they are very prevalent. Personally, I love it. Especially after dinner. I don't think I'll drink it everyday, but this and the Kyle's Melange have me very happy with Walla-Walla Roastery.

    Bali Kintamani's Excellent Flavor

I’ve been a devoted fan of Walla Walla Rostery’s Bali coffee for a couple of years. It is one of my two Rostery favorites. Very smooth flavor and outstanding aroma. It’s a gentle way of easing into the morning.

Wonderful coffee blend. Can definitely taste hints of hazelnut and dark chocolate. Very smooth not bitter.

This is a truly unique and wonderful coffee that I stumbled into several years ago via the W2 Roastery. When I get a fresh batch of this I’m never sure wether I’d rather brew it or crawl into the bag with it. Last summer made a first-attempt and creating a cold brew and was pleasantly surprised at the results I got using the Bali. Besides making a very special cold brew I find the Bali is also well suited for most any low-heat brewing method and for drinking black. You owe it to yourself to give it a try.
