From the village of Fisa Genet in the Kochere zone of Ethiopia. A City Roast brings out a tea-like body amid a resplendent array of lush flavors ranging from rose water to blackberry to mango. Like many natural process coffees this seems to develop and shift in unexpected ways from day to day, cup to cup, even sip to sip. One of our very favorite coffees!

    Good roast

    I thoroughly enjoyed the Natural Kochere as it has the brightest, sweet, berry fruit characteristics of any bean I have tasted.
    This particular roast of Kochere was well done and carried most of the characteristics I have come to love about this bean. However the berry flavor was more of an aftertaste hidden behind the more earth flavors that first greet your taste buds. Overall, excellent roast but wonder if the berry flavors could be more accentuated buy a touch lighter of a roast.
