Brown Bear Melange (aka “Kyle’s Blend”)

This is just the perfect blend and has become our household favorite. As residents of Portland, OR, we don't get to the Roastery as much as we'd like, so it is quite a treat to be able to have it delivered right to our mailbox every month. I really appreciate how promptly our orders are shipped. Being a Walla Walla native myself, it feels good to be able to support such a delightful business! Thank you and keep it up!

This coffee has a really nice taste to it. Pretty dang smooth, and the smell is amazing. Opening up the bag in the morning is some sweet business. I do basically 4 rounded tbsp for 5 cups of water for my drip coffee maker and every morning having coffee is a highlight. I think about this coffee randomly throughout the day, kinda bummed that it'd be real stupid to have some with dinner, but I'd know it'd be fantastic with dinner or any desert. Had it with a spicy breakfast twice and that wasn't bad either, and not every coffee can be good with spicy breakfast. Good stuff, try it out. Wish I had some closer to me to avoid that shipping and handling

I'm not a coffee snob; I use a standard drip coffee maker at home and alternate between pre-ground coffee and fresh ground beans when I have the time and money. I bought this blend on a lark (thanks to Kyle MacLachlan's reddit AMA) and had it shipped to my home in Oklahoma...and it's probably the best coffee purchase I've ever made. The flavor is robust yet balanced. I can't tell you anything about notes or flavor essence - but it's smooth and rich. I wish I could be more descriptive...but know that you won't regret buying some of this remarkable coffee.

I recently purchased this coffee and was honestly surprised just how quickly it was processed and shipped out. I got it after only a few days and it has to be one of the finest coffees I’ve had. I am happy to have taken a chance, as I don’t typically order this sort of thing - but I couldn’t be happier I did! Thank you so much to Walla Walla Roastery and Kyles collaboration!! Strong but smooth and a little (ahem) Spicy, this blend makes a darn fine cup of coffee! We live near Washington, DC, and will keep having Brown Bear 'thoptered in as long as it stays available for shipping. It is wonderful for sipping from a steaming mug on a still lockdown morning. However, the flavors also keep really well as the coffee cools, if you need to hop on the heighliner to the office and keep yourself caffeinated as you work on unlocking the mysteries of the universe.

Just gonna say I love this coffee! It’s a great blend and making my morning coffee with it has become a highlight of my day
