Ricardo Alexander Cortés is a mere 24 years old and is the owner of Finca Gualión, a relatively new farm with coffee trees that are about 5 years old. Ricardo comes from a family of coffee growers (his father and grandfather were also coffee growers) and have transmitted their wisdom from generation to generation.
The increased cost of the products necessary for the cultivation of coffee has made Ricardo and his family begin to cultivate specialty coffee micro-lots outside of their normal production.
We were able to secure a 4 bag micro-lot (a little over 600 LBs) of this wonderful full natural processed coffees. Our City Roast brings out lush lemongrass and tart cherry notes against an almond backdrop.
